Antonio Benavente nace en Ronda un 29 de agosto de 1980.
Autodidacta de nacimiento, comienza a tocar la guitarra con tan solo 12 años y con 14 compone su primer tema y es presentado por primera vez en un escenario y en las emisoras locales de su ciudad.
Su primer trabajo musical, "Canto de nocturnidad" es grabado en Granada en el año 2000 y posteriormente "Piel de caramelo", este último, autoproducido en su estudio de grabación.
Posteriormente de la mano del productor gaditano Dan Rouge para su sello La Luna Music 2012, lanzó al mercado digital su single "Amarte sin prisa" en las tiendas digitales de ITunes, Spotify y paralelamente el videoclip oficial en YouTube el cual actualmente va rozando el 1.000.000 de visitas. Asimismo, lo expresó el diario Sur de Málaga como uno de los videoclip más en vistos en la red YouTube durante el pasado año 2012.
Tanto el videoclip como dicho tema recibieron muy buenas críticas de artistas de la talla de David de María o Manuel Carrasco.
Dicho tema sonó y fue presentado en emisoras importantes del país como pueden ser Cadena Dial, Canal Sur Radio o Esradio, donde también tuvo la suerte de participar en la presentación de la nueva programación a nivel nacional de EsRadio y Cadena Nostalgia celebrado en la ciudad de Málaga en Teatro Albéniz
Tambien cabe mencionar que en su repertorio posee alrededor de 260 temas de composición propia.
A participado en numerosos certámenes y concursos de canción de autor, citar la primera edición de "Encuentros en el Harén" y el homenaje a Carlos Cano "I Encuentro intergeneracional de cantautores".
En 2013 graba un dueto en acústico con María Villalón, ganadora de la primera edición de "Factor X", versionando "Mientras vea el horizonte" un tema del cantautor catalán Juan Castillo.
Actualmente esta preparando su nuevo trabajo de estudio autoproducido "Utopía" un Ep que verá la luz en los próximos meses.
Antonio Benavente, además es socio de la SGAE desde hace años, e impulsor y "con-socio" del "Centro de la canción de autor".
Durante los años venideros realizó grabaciones de maquetas y las nuevas canciones que iba componiendo y así comenzaba a girar su música.
Con más de 18 años de música a sus espaldas y abarcando también labores de producción y arreglista en su propio estudio de grabación.
A compuesto para otros artistas y compañías discográficas a nivel nacional tales como Vale Music, Alondra Music ó La Luna Music 2012.
De igual manera ha compartido escenario con grandes artistas de la talla de Fran Fernández, María Villalón, La negra Mayté, Pablo Alborán o José Manuel Soto, y ha trabajado durante años en Granada, Madrid y Barcelona.
A continuación acaba de sacar su última maqueta de estudio compuesta y producida íntegramente por él, con la mayoría de temas en acústico. "La puerta abierta".
Actualmente está dedicado plenamente a su estudio de grabación "Utopía Studios" y a la guitarra, impartiendo conciertos como solista por el territorio nacional, con cinco discos en el mercado, con temas propios y versionando grandes clásicos y de igual modo, paralelamente actúa y toca en las calles de su ciudad Ronda, como guitarrista perteneciente a la asociación "Ruta musical de Ronda" junto a otros musicos y participando en todo tipo de eventos y actuaciones.

Antonio Benavente was born in Ronda on August 29, 1980.

He is currently fully dedicated to his recording studio "Utopía Studios" and to the guitar, giving concerts as a soloist throughout the national territory, with five albums on the market, with his own songs and versions of great classics, and in the same way, he acts and plays in parallel the streets of his city Ronda, as a guitarist belonging to the association "Ronda musical route" along with other musicians and participating in all kinds of events and performances.
